At Royal HaskoningDHV we are embarking on a large ERP and Business transformation to better serve our customers, make life easier for our employees and reach our ambitious goals to Enhance Society Together. We are looking for a Change Manager with experience in managing the people side of (IT) system or tool transformation in an international context to join this mission. Together with the Change Management team, network of Change Practitioners and your Project Management colleagues, you will co-orchestrate and deliver global change and project activities supporting our business and people strategy and objectives.

What you will do as a Change Manager

As a Change Manager, you will work closely with your project team, the Change Lead, and key stakeholders to identify the groups most affected by changes. You will assess the impact and assess readiness for change. Together with the team, you'll craft a dynamic change strategy and plan, utilising standardised methods and tools to ensure seamless execution and monitoring of change initiatives and deliverables. Besides that, you also:

  • Translate Change Impact analysis, Needs and Risk assessment into tailored action plans
  • Organise training of Key-users through Train the trainer approach. Collaborate with the Royal HaskoningDHV Learning team and SME network.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Communication Manager on creation of Internal Communication plans and ensure integration in Change- & Project plans.
  • Help coordination and execution of communication activities and review of required communication materials, in collaboration with Internal Communications manager.
  • Regular and timely reporting of change and adoption status to project stakeholders
  • Identify change management training needs and coach and train project teams and management
  • Provide practical and pragmatic change coaching support for smaller initiatives
  • Ensure sharing and implementation of best practices and approaches. Actively contribute to Change Management practitioner network.

What you will bring

You have experience in change management & communication, and you are a compelling communicator and organiser. You know how to collaborate with different types of stakeholders of different levels of seniority within a global organisation, across different cultures. With your stakeholder management, influencing skills and practical approach on interventions you know how to create a sustained change in behaviour, ways of working and mindset.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and previous change management experience, preferably in a large (international) organisation.
  • Experience with change processes from needs analysis, to design, development, delivery and evaluation.
  • Great creative communications skills, able to speak and write fluent in English.
  • A pragmatic and a positive ‘can do’ mentality, able to work under pressure and have high work ethics.
  • Business sensitivity, can relate daily operations in relation to the envisioned change and ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge how to translate a change management approach into concrete actions & interventions, suited to the organisation.
  • Understanding of or experience with a highly technical and engineering environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in common Change Management theories & practices (Prosci is a plus).
